Community First

As a board member of the Gulfport Merchants’ Chamber, I regularly plan and facilitate events for our community and help support local businesses. I am also the co-founder of A Gulfport Welcome, a community program designed for new residents (and resident hopefuls). This 3x yearly event is an opportunity to meet city council and community leaders, gather information about volunteer opportunities and local organizations and learn to navigate city services. My investment in our community keeps me well-informed about local issues that may affect the housing market (things like discussions about short-term rentals and accessory dwelling units) and also I get to stay connected with the local businesses and civic leaders that impact our town.
